Of the sale items, my favorite is this Stella McCartney "textured tote" (pictured right). Originally $1,295, it is now $777 (gulp!). I love, love, love the deep navy / charcoal color which will go with almost any suit. And I absolutely adore the fact that it has a zillion pockets: zipped pockets on the sides, a zip fastening across the top, and two compartments on the inside. You can never have enough pockets.
Slightly less expensive, I also enjoy this Stella McCartney "chenille shoulder bag" (pictured left). Originally $1,395, it is now $697.50 (I'm still gulping). I think its slate gray floral pattern with wood and gold-tone hardware is quite work appropriate. And at 16" x 16" x 6", everything will fit!
Also, I posted about the faux-leather version of these (faux-patent leather version) Stella McCartney booties awhile back, which Net-A-Porter has on sale for $417 (originally $695).
And, to give credit, I found these handbags via this Corporette post, which highlights another still wildly expensive yet on sale vegan designer handbag.

Great looking bags, but I could NEVER spend that kind of $$ on one!
A great site for affordable vegan bags is http://www.vegetarianshoesandbags.com/
Not only do they have great looking hand bags, they also have great looking shoes and boots!
AND one more reason to check them out is that they are running a free Shoes for a Year sweepstakes, good now through December 5.
The lucky winner gets a free pair of shoes every month for all of 2009. Entries are made each time a purchase is made, however no purchase is necessary. Anyone can go to the site to enter ONCE at http://www.vegetarianshoesandbags.com/vegansweepstakes/freeshoesforayear.aspx . They won't accept duplicate entries at this address, however.
